This agreement, along with our Privacy Policy, Website Terms of Use, Cookie Policy and Information for Ticket Buyers, sets out the rules for using Ticketize’s services.

This includes accessing www.ticketize.co.uk and all related products. Before you sign up for our services, make sure to read these rules and policies carefully. By creating a Ticketize account, you’re agreeing to follow these rules.

Definitions

“Company” and “service” refers to Ticketize, the entity providing the self-service online ticketing platform.

Ticketize.co.uk is a website operated by Ticketize, the trading name of Tylney Ltd (“we”, “our”, “us”). We are registered in England and Wales under company number 15279589 and have our registered office at 50 Princes Street, Ipswich, Suffolk, England, IP1 1RJ.

“Website” or “platform” refers to Ticketize.co.uk.

“User” refers to any individual or entity using our online ticketing services for any purpose.

“Event organiser” and “associate” refers to the individual or entity using our service to set up event ticketing.

“Ticket buyer” refers to the purchaser of a ticket.

Service Usage

Ticketize is an online platform which enables event organisers to register an account and sell and manage tickets for events.

About event organisers

By using our platform, event organisers must be at least 18 years old or have the legal capacity to enter into contracts in your jurisdiction.

Relationship to ticket buyers

Ticketize provides the platform to enable organisations to sell tickets. Ticketize has no relationship with ticket buyers.

The contractual relationship with regards to the purchasing of a ticket to a specific event on the Ticketize platform is between the event organiser and the ticket buyer.

We will provide the contact details of tickets buyers to the event organisers for the purpose of informing ticket buyers of any changes or cancellations of events

Responsibilities of event organisers

Event organisers are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their account information, including passwords. Any activities conducted under an event organisers’ account are their responsibility.

Any changes to the event should be noted immediately on the Ticketize event page and it is the responsibility of the event organiser to inform the ticket buyers.

If an event has to be cancelled by the Event organiser it is the responsibility of the Event Organiser to arrange for a refund. Note, platform and processing fees will not be refunded by Ticketize or Stripe respectively.

Event organisers are responsible for accuracy of information when creating events or sharing content on our platform.

Event organisers can upload information about their organisation and information about their events to the website. Ticketize is not liable or responsible for any organisation or event content.

Event organisations are subject to Data Protection legislation. Users must not use our website, or the contact information of ticket purchasers, to collect unnecessary data.

It is the responsibility of the event organisers to ensure that the total number of tickets sold does not exceed the total number of tickets available, including in the event of tickets being sold for cash or via other platforms. Ticketize will not be held liable for “double booking” of tickets.

Event organisers agree not to use our platform for any illegal or unauthorised purpose and to comply with all applicable laws and regulations.

Event organisers are prohibited from uploading, sharing, or promoting content that falls into the following categories:

Payments

All transactions conducted through our platform are subject to our payment terms. You agree to pay all fees and charges associated with your use of our services in accordance with these terms.

Stripe payment processing

We use Stripe, a third-party payment processor, to facilitate transactions on our platform. By using our services, you agree to comply with the terms and conditions of Stripe.

Event organisers have to create an account with Stripe, and sign up to the Stripe terms and conditions before paid-for events can be published. Payments can then be taken from tickets buyers through the Ticketize platform in return for tickets to events.

Stripe processing fees and Ticketize platform fees will be deducted by Stripe ahead of the ticket sale funds being transferred to the Event organiser’s nominated bank account.

Ticketize has no responsibility for the Stripe payment processing service and as such has no liability for any losses arising from any disputes between event organisers and Stripe.

Event Terms & Conditions

Tickets are provided under the Ticketize Terms and Conditions. Each event may have its own Terms and Conditions (e.g. orgniasation refund policy, age limits for events) and these must be incorporated into the booking process to be enforceable.

The Ticketize Terms and Conditions supersede any Terms and Conditions for the organisation, event or venue.

Data Protection

We are committed to protecting your personal data and respecting your privacy rights. Our use of your personal information is governed by our privacy policy, which you agree to by using our platform.

You acknowledge and agree that we may collect, process, and store your personal information as described in our Privacy Policy.

Ticketize is registered with the Information Commissioners’ Office (ZB659322).

Intellectual Property

All content and materials available on Ticketize is the property of the platform owner or its licensors and are protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.

You may not use, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works based on any content from our platform without our prior written consent.

Limitation of Liability

In no event shall Ticketize be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of or in any way connected with your use of our platform or the content available on it.

This includes, but is not limited to, damages for loss of profits, goodwill, use, data, or other intangible losses, even if the platform owner has been advised of the possibility of such damages.

We aim to keep our website available all day, every day, but we can’t promise it will always be up. If the website is down for any reason, we won’t be responsible for any inconvenience it causes you. We will let you know if we plan to take the website down for maintenance, but we can’t predict unexpected outages caused by things beyond our control.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless the platform owner and its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any and all claims, damages, liabilities, costs, and expenses arising out of or in any way related to your use of our platform or any breach of these terms and conditions.

Governing Law

These terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United Kingdom. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these terms and conditions shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the United Kingdom.

Modifications

We reserve the right to modify or update these terms and conditions at any time without prior notice. Any changes will be effective immediately upon posting on our platform. It is your responsibility to review these terms and conditions periodically for updates.

Your continued use of our platform after the posting of any changes constitutes acceptance of those changes.
